The first episode of Aftermath (A tale of a Family's Survival) is currently on pre-order for 0.99 cents. Pick it up now and save. Price goes to 2.99 February or March check it out and wonder a few days as to whether it's a story that you'd like to share with me in. I've grown attached to this small south Florida family. Actually, for most it will as well. Much to associate with here, but you be the judge. Looking forward to reader feedback on this story. Pretty excited about this. As one reader said: If you were out to kidnap members of a Seminole Indian, you might as well kill yourself as to have him hunt you down. I believe that was a voice of experience who has befriended the Seminole Indian and hunted with them.
The story is centered around a south Florida family in post apocalyptic times. When bad men from the northern cities eventually make their way down taking with them anything that they can steal or take of value, Winston comes home from a three day recon to find his wife and daughter kidnapped. Winston is a Seminole Indian and times just got tougher for the bad guys.
FLASH BACK a number of years prior ...
Winston's wife is a former nun out of Turin, Italy who was assigned to a humanitarian mission in Haiti when she received word of a death in her family. She hopped a private plane to Miami to board a jet home to Turin when a hurricane crippled the city and shut down the international airport. It was a nightmare event for her alone on a wind and rainy swept road when Winston found her and took her home. Years later, they married, had two beautiful children and the story begins.
But what started as a dream, turned into a nightmare for Winston and with his hunting and survival skills, he and his family will survive. Or will they?
